About
My name is Sergio García, founder of Ladiëresis.
Passionate about art in general and music in particular, I started by designing visual concepts for my circle of friends' projects. With the arrival of social media and the rise of independent music, I began to make my way designing MySpace profiles, album covers and music videos for YouTube.
The name "Ladiëresis" comes from the diacritical mark of one of my alter egos — a way to take my name out of the equation and work with greater freedom, without labels or a predetermined aesthetic. I find inspiration in the influences of each project, using the appropriate language to create its own universe.
I have been responsible for coordinating and shaping it from the beginning, but Ladiëresis became a collective once it left my bedroom. Behind each piece there are cameras, photographers, designers, producers and many other professionals I've been lucky enough to work with. Credits are embedded in each work, printed on it to remain as long as it remains.
From the first set in a garage, Ladiëresis grew with each person who joined the journey, until we reached our own photography, design and music spaces. So although my name is behind Ladiëresis, the work belongs to everyone who made it possible.
